The BCJ-MCVP was created with the video professional in mind. Our 12G product line is our fastest moving product line, so we're adding more to it!

The adapter complements our 32MCK-ST (12G) and 48MC (3G) patchbays. This is a great alternative if you don't have an extra patch cord available to use. Just lock it into place with a BNC Male connector and you can use it with those patchbays. It's really that easy to use!

The challenge level in Drive Mad feels fair because most failures come from player mistakes rather than random mechanics. That keeps me motivated to try again.
Nice write-up on the BCJ-MCVP — the push-to-lock BNC design is a really thoughtful addition for anyone running 32MCK-ST or 48MC patchbays in a tight live workflow. Just a quick click and the patchbay is engaged without having to grab an extra cable. On the subject of simple plug-and-play tools, I recently came across Online Piano, a free in-browser virtual piano with 12, 36, and 61-key layouts — handy for sketching musical ideas without firing up a full DAW.
By complementing the 32MCK-ST (12G) and 48MC (3G) patchbays, Pokepath the adapter provides a simple alternative to using extra patch cords. Its easy installation—requiring only a BNC male connector to lock it into place—helps streamline workflows, reduce cable clutter, and improve operational efficiency.
This is a fantastic post—very informative and easy to follow. I’d also suggest readers take a look at juan365 for additional perspective.
It's great to see Canare continuing to innovate the 12G product line with the BCJ-MCVP adapter. Having a simple plug-and-play solution for patchbays without extra cables is exactly the kind of convenience video professionals need on set.
